DOUBLE CHOCOLATE MAXI COOKIES 
1 c. all purpose flour
1/2 measuring tsp. salt
1/4 measuring tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 measuring tbsp. water
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) Nestle Semi sweet chocolate maxi morsels, divided
2 measuring tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, salt and baking soda; set aside. In small saucepan, combine butter, sugar and water; bring just to boil. Remove from heat. Add 6 oz. (1 cup) Nestle Semi sweet chocolate maxi morsels and vanilla extract. Stir until morsels melt and mixture is smooth. Transfer to large bowl. Chill in refrigerator 10 to 15 minutes. Add egg; beat well. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in remaining 1 cup Nestle Semi sweet chocolate maxi morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Allow to stand 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheets; cool completely.

Makes 2 1/2 dozen 3 inch cookies.
