1 1/2 sticks butter
1 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
7 eggs
1 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Flavorings to taste (vanilla/lemon)

Beat butter and Crisco together. Add sugar, beat until creamy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Mix well after each one. Add baking powder to flour. Add flour, one cup at a time, pouring in 1/3 cup milk after each cup flour. Add flavorings. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
