BARBECUE MEATBALLS 
3 lb. ground beef
1 cup quick-cooking oats
2 tsp. chili powder
1 cup cracker crumbs
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk

Mix all ingredients well, shape into golf sized balls, put into a baking dish in a single layer. Top with sauce.

SAUCE:

2 cups ketchup (Hunts)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke or A-1 sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 cup chopped onion

Stir all ingredients until brown sugar dissolves. Pour over meatballs. Cover with foil and bake in a preheated slow (275°F) oven for 1 1/2 hours.
