GERMAN CRUMB CAKE 
CAKE:

2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg

CRUMB TOPPING:

4 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. nuts
3 tbsp. flour

Melt butter. Beat in sugar, flour, baking powder and egg. Put mixture in bottom of well greased pie pan. Mix together crumb topping ingredients and sprinkle over dough in pie pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
