CHINESE SALAD 
Approx. 1/2 head cabbage or 1 lb. cabbage, shredded
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1/2 c. oil
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 Ramen Oriental mix seasoning packet
1/4 c. slivered almonds
The broken noodles from the Ramen soup packet

Mix together oil, sugar, vinegar and soup mix seasoning packet. Pour over shredded cabbage and onions; let stand a couple of hours. Brown almonds and broken noodles in a little butter and add to cabbage mixture just before serving.
