GUMDROP BAR 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. finely chopped gumdrops of assorted flavors (except licorice flavor; 6 oz.)
1/2 c. chopped pecans
4 eggs
1 tbsp. water
2 c. packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
Orange Icing

Thoroughly mix flour, gumdrops and pecans; set aside. Beat eggs with water until foamy. Gradually add brown sugar, beating until light. Beat in cinnamon and salt. Stir in gumdrop mixture. Spread mixture evenly in greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch baking pan.

Bake at 375°F until done, 15 to 20 minutes. While still warm, spread with Orange Icing and cut into 2-inch squares. Remove from pan. Garnish with sliced gumdrops, if desired.

Makes about 3 dozen.

Orange Icing:

3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. grated orange peel
2 tbsp. orange juice
sifted powdered sugar

Melt butter. Stir in orange peel and orange juice. Add enough powdered sugar to make a thin icing.
