CHOCOLATE PECAN BARS 
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter
1 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. butter
1 oz. semi sweet chocolate
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. bourbon or water
1 tsp. vanilla

Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon. Cut in 1/2 cup butter with pastry cutter of knife. Stir in nuts. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan, ungreased, bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt 1/4 cup butter and chocolate chips. Combine eggs, brown sugar, bourbon and vanilla in a bowl. Add chocolate mixture. Blend well. Pour over crust. Bake again for 20 minutes more or until set.
