CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE BARS 
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 tub coconut pecan frosting

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar, butter, vanilla and 1 egg in large bowl. Stir in flour. Press dough on bottom and 1/2 way up sides of an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until edges are brown. Sprinkle chocolate chips over crust. Then mix 2 eggs and coconut-pecan frosting in small bowl and pour over chocolate chips. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until set. Loosen edges from side of pan. While warm, cool completely. Cut into bars. Cover and refrigerate any remaining bars. Makes 36.

To make pecan pie bars - omit chocolate chips.
