CHICKEN AND VEGETABLE STIR-FRY | |
4 chicken breasts 1/2 c. broccoli chunks 3 cloves garlic, crushed 1 white onion, chunks 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. snow peas 1/2 c. carrots, shredded 1/2 tsp. ginger powder 1/2 c. bamboo shoots 3-4 tbsp. olive oil 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced 1/2 c. celery slices 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tsp. Accent 1 tbsp. sesame oil 2 tsp. white sugar Cut chicken into bite size chunks. Remove strings from snow peas and cut in half. In bowl add broccoli, celery and onion. Set aside. In large skillet heat olive oil until hot. Add chicken, stirring until done, about 3 minutes. Add vegetables from bowl, stir well for about 2 minutes then add sesame seed oil, garlic, ginger, and sugar. Add remaining vegetables and sauce mixture. Add more soy sauce as needed and stir well until done. You may add 4 tablespoons sesame seeds for a unique flavor. Serves 4. |
