CZECHOSLAVAKIAN TEA CAKES 
1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
2 c. flour plus 1 tbsp.
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. preserves (raspberry is good!)

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and flour gradually. Add nuts. Grease 8 inch square pan. Put bottom layer down using 1/2 batter. Spread preserves. Pat batter on top. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour until lightly browned.
