Simple and great hit for the holidays! 1 c. soft butter 1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Measure flour; sift and salt. Blend and stir into the above. then place in refrigerator for 1 hour. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Roll into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes (watch closely). Place on plate and roll in powdered sugar while warm. Cool and roll in powdered sugar again. |
