FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 eggs, well beaten
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 lb. chopped pecans
1/2 lb. citron
1/2 lb. pineapple
1/2 lb. green cherries
1/2 lb. red cherries
1 lb. white raisins
1 c. bourbon

Cream butter, then add sugar, salt, soda and eggs. Mix flour with nuts and fruits. Add fruit mixture to batter and add bourbon. Mix well. Drop very small amount by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet and bake at 250 degrees for 25 minutes. Do not brown. Makes 280 cookies.
