BOURBON SWEET POTATOES 
6 sweet potatoes
2 c. light brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. bourbon

Boil potatoes in skin until partially done. Peel and cut into large chunks. Put one layer of potatoes into butter casserole and cover with one cup sugar and dot with 1/2 stick butter. Repeat. Pour bourbon over all and bake 30 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees until brown and bubbly.
