BROCCOLI-RICE STUFFED PEPPERS 
1 lg. onion
2 carrots
10 oz. broccoli
1/2 lb. mushrooms
1 sm. green pepper
1 1/2 c. dry rice
3 green peppers, halved
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Cook rice. Chop and saute vegetables, add to rice, add seasonings and cheese. Spoon mixture into green pepper halves, place in a greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until peppers are fork tender. Rice and vegetable mixture can be cooked in casserole dish instead of green pepper halves.
