GERMAN STYLE GREEN BEANS 
4-6 slices bacon, diced
2 (16 oz.) cans cut green beans, drained
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar

In medium skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Drain, reserving about 2 tablespoons bacon drippings in skillet. Add onion; saute until tender. Add beans, vinegar and sugar; heat thoroughly. Makes 8 servings.
