MONKEY BREAD 
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 pkg. of yeast
1 c. warm water
1 egg
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Mix sugar, salt, yeast, eggs, and shortening in warm water. Add flour and mix. Place in airtight container. Place in refrigerator overnight. Roll out on floured board. Cut in strips. Drip in melted butter. Layer in deep baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
