RAISIN SAUCE FOR HAM
1/2 c. seedless raisins
1 c. brown sugar
3 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. cold water
1/4 c. lemon juice

Cook raisins, sugar, and water until raisins are puffy and soft, about 20 minutes. Add the cornstarch, which has been dissolved in the cold water and lemon juice. Cook until clear, about 5 minutes.

Best used over "smoked" ham. Makes 3 cups.
