NEW ENGLAND BOILED DINNER 
5 lb. well trimmed corned beef brisket
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 med. onion, quartered

Place in large kettle, cover with cold water. Cook 3 hours until tender. About 20 minutes before tender, skim fat from liquid. Add: 10 med. carrots 6 quartered potatoes 3 turnips Med. head cabbage

Cut and cook until tender.
