APPLE/PEAR SALAD 
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. grated orange rind
2 tbsp. orange juice
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 med. apples, cored, diced
2 med. pears, cored, diced
1 c. seedless grapes, halved
Lettuce leaves (optional)

In large bowl, stir together mayonnaise, orange rind and juice, sugar and salt. Add fruit; toss to coat well. Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hours. If desired, arrange on lettuce-lined platter.

Makes 4 cups.

NOTE: If desired, 4 apples or 4 pears may be used instead of 2 pears and apples.
