ONE WAY CHERRY COBBLER 
1 stick (1/2 c.) butter
1 (16 oz.) can cherries
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in an 8 or 9 inch square pan. Drain cherries; set aside and reserve juice. In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients together. Add milk. Pour onto the melted butter, but DO NOT STIR. Spoon cherries on top of mixture, then sprinkle with 1/2 cup of reserved juice. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
