5 HOUR OVEN BEEF STEW | |
1 1/2 lb. chuck beef 1 sm. can tomatoes 1 c. celery, large pieces 6 carrots, large pieces 3 onions, sliced 1 tbsp. salt 3 tbsp. tapioca 1 tsp. sugar, optional 1 garlic clove 6 med. potatoes, cut in medium size Do not brown meat. Combine all ingredients except the beef. Cover and put in oven at 350 degrees for 3 hours and then add meat 2 hours before stew is ready. |
