These were great. I am surprised at the amount of sugar the recipe calls for-- I used only half the amount (1 cup) and they were delicious- definitely sweet enough, especially with all those chocolate chips! I also used whole wheat flour and canola oil instead of butter. The whole family enjoyed them, will definitely save this recipe!

I made them just as the recipe called for me to do, took them out after 27 minutes, let cool about 1 hour. They were hard and edges were crispy and dry. I was thinking on more like a brownie. I don't think I'll try these again, the taste was great though.

I made this with my kids. This recipe was relatively easy and turned out great. It was delicious while hot and would have been so yummy with some vanilla ice-cream. When cooled, it set nicely and was very easily cut into bars. I'll be using this recipe again for sure.

I made this not knowing how well it would turn out because I usually use the stuff that is pre-made. I will NEVER do that again!! I will make these for years to come!! They are amazing!! I used 2 cups of white sugar and 2.5 tbsp of molasses (only because I had no brown sugar) and it turned out good!! I also used a whole bag of chocolate chips. Regardless thank you so much for sharing the recipe, I love it!

I am so excited! That was so much easier than making cookies and quicker! From start to finish it was approximately 45 mins! I will make this time and time again! Loved it thanks for the great recipe! I used one cup granulated sugar and one cup brown because I didn't have enough brown and they still came out amazing!!
