1/2 c. milk (sweet or sour)
1 egg
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. melted shortening
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. boiling water

Mix. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 minutes.
