BEAN AND NOODLE SOUP WITH
GREBBLE
 
1 cup Navy beans, cooked
1 1/2 cup light cream or half and half
salt and pepper, to taste
1 lb. homemade noodles
hot roll mix
syrup

After beans are cooked (may use canned and drained or dry cooked beans), add enough water to make 2 quarts and bring to a boil.

Add noodles and heat for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add cream. Serve.

To make grebble, make hot roll mix per package directions. Roll out on a lightly floured board to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut dough in 4x2-inch strips and slit a hole in the center. Stretch dough and fry in deep fat fryer, turning until both sides are browned.

Serve with syrup.
