1/4 c. butter (oleo)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour milk
1 c. chopped dates
4 bananas (mashed)
1/2 c. walnuts
2 c. flour
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Chocolate chips
Powdered sugar

1. Cream butter and sugar.

2. Add eggs

3. Sour 1/2 cup of milk by adding 1 teaspoon of vinegar. Add to mixture.

4. Add bananas, salt, soda and vanilla.

5. Add flour.

6. Nuts and dates are optional.

7. Place in well greased and floured tube pan. Sprinkle top with chocolate chips.

8. Bake 1 hour at 370 degrees F. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
