24 HOUR BUNS OVERNIGHT 
4 c. water
2 tbsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
14 c. flour
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 tbsp. sugar

START THIS AT ABOUT 3 P.M. Boil 4 cups water and sugar for 3 minutes. Add shortening and salt. Cool to lukewarm. Mix yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar with 1/2 cup warm water. Mix all ingredients together; add more flour, if sticky. Cover and let rise.

6 P.M. Knead down.

9 P.M. Shape into buns or rolls and place on greased pans. Cover.

NEXT MORNING: Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
