1 c. sugar 1/2 c. shortening (Crisco) 2 c. warm water 1 tbsp. salt 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water 2 eggs, well beaten Approx. 8-9 c. flour Mix at 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. Let rise and knead down every hour. Put in tins at 10:00 p.m. Let rise overnight. Bake in the morning at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. |
