1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1 lg. container Cool Whip
Chopped nuts

Bake cake mix in two round cake pans. Let them cool real good on wax paper on plates. Take a piece of string, cut each layer apart in the middle, so that you have 4 layers. Put one layer carefully on cake plate. Spread on whip cream nice and thick. Put next cake layer on top of first one. Put cherries on second layer. Top with 3rd layer, put whip cream on it. Top with 4th layer put cherries on it. Then cover the whole cake with whip cream. Decorate top with cherries, and put chopped nuts around sides. Delicious.
