GRANDMA'S RAISIN BREAD 
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar

Sift above ingredients together well. Add in:

1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup raisins

If desired, to make bread a little richer, work in 2 tablespoons butter and 1 egg. Put mixture into greased loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes in a preheated 350°F oven.

Makes 1 loaf.

This recipe has been handed down through many generations of Polish wives and homemakers.
