CHOCOLATE KISS COOKIES 
1 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, chopped
1/2 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
1 (9 oz.) pkg. chocolate kisses
Confectioners sugar

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Add flour; blend well. Add nuts; chill dough. Mold cookie dough (about 1 tablespoon) around each chocolate kiss. Cover candy completely. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 37 degrees about 10 minutes or until golden around edges. Cool. Dust with confectioners sugar or roll the cookie in the sugar. Recipe doubles easily.
