GREEN BEANS WITH BACON 
2 cans green beans
4 slices bacon
2 tbsp. flour
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. soul food seasoning
1 tsp. pepper

Brown off bacon. Drain fat. Pour fat in pan. Add flour; make a roux. Place juice from green beans into roux. Stir constantly to make sauce. Add seasoning and green beans, 1 cup water. Bring to a boil. Simmer until thoroughly cooked.
