ANNIE'S POUND CAKE | |
2 c. sugar 1 lb. sweet butter 2 1/2 c. Swans Down 6 eggs 2 tsp. lemon extract Beat eggs leaving yolk and put whites in freezer. Mix sugar, butter (room temperature). Add well beaten egg yolks. Mix thoroughly. Add cake flour. Mix thoroughly. Add egg whites and beat more. Add lemon extract, mixing thoroughly. Spray a 10 inch tube pan with Pam and flour entire surface. Bake 1 hour 10 minutes. Good eating! Oven 375 degrees. |
