1 pkg. (2 layer size) German chocolate cake mix
2 pkgs. (4 serving size) butter pecan instant pudding mix
1 c. confectioners' sugar
4 c. cold milk

1. Prepare cake mix as directed on package, baking in 13"x9" pan. Remove from oven. Poke holes at once down through the cake to the pan with round handle of a wooden spoon. Holes should be at 1" intervals.

2. Combine pudding mix with sugar in large bowl. Gradually stir in milk. Beat at low speed of electric mixer for not more than 1 minute.

3. Quickly before pudding thickens; pour 1/2 of thin pudding into the holes of cake. Allow remaining pudding to thicken and spoon over the top. Chill at least 1 hour. Store in refrigerator.
