24 HOUR COLE SLAW 
1 head cabbage, grated
2 med. onions, sliced very thin
1/4 c. sliced olives or pimento or some of both
1 c. vinegar
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tbsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. dry mustard
3/4 c. salad oil

Layer cabbage, onion and olive. Sprinkle 1/3 cup on top. Put vinegar, seed, mustard, salt and 1 cup sugar in saucepan. Bring to boil. Add oil. Bring to boil. Pour hot liquid over cabbage mixture. DO NOT STIR. Cover bowl. Sprinkle with parsley and paprika for color before serving.
