CHEESY BBQ TURKEY BURGERS
Made just as directed allows you to have a relatively healthy but delicious burger!

1 pound lean ground turkey
2 lite laughing cow soft cheese wedges (any flavor)
your favorite BBQ sauce (my family likes hickory smoked)
hamburger buns (potato buns are delicious!)

Divide ground turkey into 4 ounce balls. Take 1/2 of one cheese wedge and stuff it in the middle of the ground turkey. Shape turkey around cheese into a nice patty. Prepare pan by heating to medium-high heat and spraying with a non-stick spray -- olive oil flavored seems to work the best.

Cook turkey burgers through, and allow them to get a nice golden brown on the outside. Don't forget that you have the cheese inside! So, don't poke them to check the middle. This also keeps the burgers moist.

When burgers are cooked thoroughly, put on buns and lightly brush your favorite BBQ sauce on. While delicious just as it is, you can add any condiments that you would enjoy on such a burger. Cole slaw, sauerkraut, lettuce, tomatoes, caramelized onions, peppers etc. Also, by changing the cheese flavors, the possibilities are endless!

I make this except I used lean ground beef with "Original Creamy Swiss" cheese wedges. Martin's Dutch style potato rolls. Everyone loved it!
