3 Cups Flour 2 Cups Sugar 6 eggs 1 cup Butter (1/2 lb; I only use butter) 1 tsp Vanilla (you can use other flavors if you wish) 1 tbsp Baking Powder 11 x 15 Cookie Sheet- Greased;350°F oven - approximately 30 minutes until light brown and the center springs back when you touch it. Sift the flour and baking powder together and set aside. Cream the sugar and butter together, add eggs and vanilla, add the flour mixture, pour into the cookie sheet and spread evenly. Let cool so you can handle. Along the 15 inch cut into three sections, then cut as wide as you like and lay them on the cake side and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until light brown. Turn over and brown the other side. Your done - Cool them on a rack. You can drizzle chocolate on them or dip one end in chocolate and dip in jimmies. You can add nuts, chocolate chips or dried fruit to the batter if you like. Enjoy!!! |
