EASY NO-KNEAD WHOLE WHEAT BREAD | |
3 c. whole wheat flour 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. salt 3 pkgs. dry yeast 2 c. water 2 c. milk 1/2 c. oil 2 eggs 5-6 c. white flour Combine in large mixer bowl, first 4 ingredients. Heat in a saucepan until very warm - water, milk and oil. Add warmed liquids and 2 eggs to dry ingredients. Blend at low speed until moistened. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Stir in by hand. Use enough flour to form a stiff batter. Cover and let rise until double. Stir down and spoon into greased 9 x 5 inch bread pans. Let rise 20-30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes. |
