CURRIED FRUIT 
1 bottle cherries (don't use juice)
#2 can apricots
1 med. can pineapple chunks
1 can pears
1 can peach halves
3/4 c. sugar
2 - 3 tbsp. cornstarch
2 scant tsp. curry powder
1/4 c. butter
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. fruit juice, mostly apricot juice

For sauce, combine sugar, cornstarch, curry powder, butter, salt and fruit juice; pour over fruit and put in oven until it bubbles.
