NOODLES WITH MEAT, CHEESE, AND
TOMATO SAUCE
 
8 oz. wide egg noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 clove garlic, mashed
1/2 tsp. salt
2 (8 oz. each) cans tomato sauce
6 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
3 tbsp. cottage cheese
6 green onions, finely sliced
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, brown meat, stirring with a fork until crumbly. Drain fat from meat, then stir in garlic, salt, and tomato sauce. Simmer over low heat. Mix together cream cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese and green onions. Arrange alternate layers of noodles, cream cheese mixture and meat sauce in a 2 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle top with cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
