1/4 c. butter 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. chopped nuts Blend all together and sprinkle on top of filling. CRUMB TOPPING: 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 c. flour 1/2 tsp. vanilla Blend all together well and sprinkle on top of filling. CARAMEL TOPPING: 1 c. heavy cream 6 tbsp. brown sugar, firmly packed 1/2 tsp. vanilla Blend all together; then refrigerate 30 minutes. Then whip until stiff. Good on apple or pumpkin pie. |
