STREUSEL TOPPED APPLE CUSTARD
PIE
 
4 c. pared and sliced apples
9 inch unbaked pie shell
2 eggs
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
3 tbsp. chopped nuts
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Arrange apples in shell. In a bowl beat eggs, stir in milk, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well and pour over apples. Combine nuts and brown sugar. Sprinkle over top. Place in bottom 1/3 of oven at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 375 degrees and continue baking for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Refrigerate after cooling.
