EGG CUSTARD PIE 
5 slightly beaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. scalded milk
nutmeg (optional)
1 frozen, 9-inch, deep-dish pie shell

Blend eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla and almond extracts. Gradually stir in scalded milk. Pour mixture into chilled, unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Bake at 400°F for 25 to 30 minutes. Pie is done when knife inserted comes out clean.
