EGG CUSTARD PIE 
2 1/2 c. Milk
1 tbsp. Butter
3 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
4 tbsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Heat milk to scalding hot. Melt butter in milk. Beat the whole eggs lightly. Beat in sugar, salt and nutmeg. Add egg mixture to scalded milk, stir until mixed. Pour into pastry shell and bake at 400°F for 10 minutes, then at 350°F for 20 minutes.
