BETTER THAN EVER CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
3 bananas
1 can coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
12 oz. Cool Whip
1 jar cherries

Mix cake according to directions, using milk instead of water.

Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan. Heat pineapple with sugar. Punch holes in cake. Pour hot pineapple mixture over cake. Mix pudding according to directions; blend in cream cheese. Spread on cooled cake. Slice bananas over pudding mixture. Cover with Cool Whip, coconut and cherries.
