CARAMEL CORN 
6 qts. popped popcorn, plain
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1 tsp. baking soda

Combine all ingredients except popcorn and soda. Bring combined ingredients to a boil. Remove from heat; stir in soda and mix well. Pour over corn and place on cookie sheet and bake approximately 1 hour at 200 degrees., stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and store in airtight container.
