BEST BREAKFAST GRAVY
bacon
3 level tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk

Open the bacon package at one end and cut crosswise the package so that you have small pieces of bacon (about 1 to 1 1/2 cups), depending on how much gravy you want to make. Brown bacon pieces in skillet. When browned, dip the pieces out, leaving the drippings; set aside.

In drippings (you should have about 1/4 cup), add flour and salt. Brown until deep brown. Add milk. Continue cooking and stirring until it gets to the consistency you want. If it gets too thick, you can add small amounts of milk while it's still hot and on the burner.

You can also do the same with breakfast sausage. Just crumble it in the pan and brown it and follow the same directions.
