PRETZEL SALAD (OR DESSERT) 
2 2/3 c. pretzels, broken in pieces
1 c. butter, melted
4 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) container whipped topping, soft
1 (20 oz.) chunk pineapple, save juice
1 (6 oz.) strawberry Jello
1 (16 oz.) frozen whole or sliced strawberries (or 3 c. fresh whole or sliced)

Place pretzels in 9 x 13 inch dish. Spread out for crust. Pour melted butter over pretzels and bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Cool to luke-warm. Beat cheese and sugar until fluffy. Spread over crust. Spread topping over cheese and chill. Add water to pineapple juice to make 2 cups. Heat to boil. Dissolve Jello in juice and chill until partially set. Add fruit and spread over whipped topping in dish. Chill until firm.
