PRETZEL SALAD OR PRETZEL DESSERT 
2 c. (crushed) pretzels
4 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. melted butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries

Mix pretzels, 4 tablespoons sugar and 3/4 cup melted butter. Pat in 9 x 12 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes. Take out oven and cool. Cream cream cheese, fold in sugar and Cool Whip; spread over cooled pretzels.

Dissolve Jello in boiling water, stir in strawberries. Chill until slightly thickened. Spoon Jello and strawberries on top. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
