I LOVE THIS RECIPE! I added Chopped Walnuts to it, no banana, and used Cherries instead of Strawberries. I drained the cherries and then just dumped them in. I DID mix Cream cheese, sugar, then added Pineapple and cherries, then FOLDED in Cool whip and nuts. GENTLY fold in. Freeze! DELICIOUS!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

I've made this salad twice, and everyone loves it. The first time I omitted the bananas because I didn't want it to overpower the flavors. Today I made it again. I doubled the recipe. I used two cans of drained pineapple,a 24 oz container of frozen and thawed strawberries,a 10 oz jar of drained sweet cherries in light syrup, a large 20 oz container of coolwhip, one cup of sugar, 2 packages of cream cheese, and about 3/4 cup of chopped pecans. OMG is it good! It is going to a birthday party tomorrow. I had a small bowl as a salad this evening. Yummy! I liked it better that way than frozen, although frozen is good too. This is going to be my go-to dish for parties and holidays!
