BUTTERNUT POUND CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
4 eggs
1 c. milk
2 1/2 c. flour (plain)
1/2 c. self rising flour
1 tbsp. butternut flavoring

Sift 2 times and measure.

Sift sugar in large mixing bowl. Add Crisco. Cream. Add 1 egg at a time; mix well. Alternate milk and flour. Add flavoring; mix well. Grease tube pan. Pour batter into pan evenly. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour (preheat oven). NOTE: For regular pound cake, use vanilla flavoring for raisin pound cake and add 1 box of floured raisins, fold into batter. May use cream cheese frosting or use plain.
